Chicken Farm.

Yesterday while on our way home from Castleblaney we stopped off in a Chicken farm! It's a high life we lead here you know! Actually it was quite interesting... and very smelly:o) Niall had been here a few weeks ago when the birds were little chicks and said it was totally different, including the perfume.

We were invited to come back in three weeks to see the next batch of chicks. I suspect it will be a more pleasant visit!

I hope so, for all your sakes!

Fun. I want to get some more chickens. Maybe the spring. Not nearly as many as in the pic. I enjoy them but would like to be able to let them run out and can't here. It looks like you've had some pretty weather and some fun outings. I like your header picture.
And I can really tell Sean is growing since the summer!

God Bless,

Poultry is very smelly. One of my oldest daughter's friends is from a chicken farming family. They have over 100,000 chickens. It is a sterile operation, and nobody is allowed to visit. The people who work there have to wear special "clean-suits" when they go inside. Who knew eggs were so high tech??? Chicks are really cute, though, I hope you do get to see some.
